about
I was feeling pretty down when I wrote this song last year. To me, the song is pretty upbeat but deep down it’s capturing the feeling of hopelessness. My goal currently is to get permanent residence here in Canada by doing music. There’s no step by step process that’s laid out for obtaining that and it’s apparently really difficult. I’ve been told to just get a normal job many times. However, it’s not that easy. I want to do music while I’m still young. Because of this, It’s pretty stressful always. However I am extremely grateful that I’m doing something I really enjoy.
lyrics
Someones out there burning me, thru a magnifying glass
The universe keeps giving me cards, but I can't pass my turn
I’m getting to the point, give me more I’ll faint, how can I say I’m okay
I can’t seem to feel alive
Please tell me that i'm alright
Maybe luck's not on my side
Not on my side
Week after week, I’m barely getting by, why do I even try
My troubles keep on piling up, with no breaks in-between
I’m getting to the point, give me more and I’ll faint, how can I say I’m okay
I can’t seem to feel alive
Please tell me that i'm alright
Maybe luck's not on my side
Not on my side
If only luck was by my side
